Tea and Biscuits
Come learn about American history and culture through the American Girls dolls.

General Information
  • Each day at camp, you’ll learn about the era in which a different doll lived. Whether it’s Kit from the Depression era or Addy from the Civil War era, you’ll learn about each time period’s history, music, food and pastimes.
  • If you have one, bring along your doll for learning, crafting, game playing and maybe even cooking!
  • A $5.00 Materials fee for crafting and cooking due to the instructor on the first day of camp.
  • Bus transportation: AVAILABLE
  • NO CAMP THURSDAY 7/4

Instructor's Experience
  • Beth Whiteman has been a classroom teacher for 19 years in the Guilderland School District.
  • She currently teaches fifth grade, but has taught kindergarten, first, third and enrichment, as well. Beth’s hobbies include history, musical theater, and sewing. Beth is a NYS certified teacher (elementary and 6-12 social studies).
  • She has taught many previous summer camps for the Town of Guilderland, Sage College & Helderberg Workshop.
