This camp is geared toward wrestlers who strive to learn the fundamentals of the sport. Most children enjoy wrestling, so let them learn the sport in a safe, structured environment.

General Information
  • We will teach and practice essential drills and techniques for beginning and advanced wrestlers.
  • There will be a balance of time spent on agility training, wrestling technique as well as games designed to enhance strength and speed.
  • Campers will be divided into small learning groups based on grade, skill level, and experience.
  • Campers should wear clothing that is appropriate for Physical Education classes.
  • Jeans, belts and other restrictive clothing should not be worn.
  • Bring clean sneakers or wrestling shoes for use on the mats and Bring plenty water bottle each day.

Instructor's Experience
  • JP Hulslander is the Varsity Wrestling coach at Guilderland High School, he wrestled at Guilderland High School graduated in 2003. He then went to Suny Brockport to study physical education and was a member of the wrestling team for 4 years. Master Degree for Suny Cortland in coaching Pedagogy. He is Currently a physical education teacher at Guilderland Central School District.
