Admit it. With all this online school, you've wanted to use a fun background, silly filter or wear a costume. Well, now is your time!

Camp Information

This will be a virtual camp this summer! There will be 3 time slots available for registration. You can pay/register for more than one time slot if you'd like - each is bound to be different!)
Campers will use improv, imagination and technology to develop interesting characters or to portray characters from books online. Ensemble building theatre games will provide everyone with performing tools to unlock and bring out the characters within. Hats, costumes, props, backgrounds and filters will provide inspiration for brand new characters and campers are encouraged to assemble a list of characters from books that they know well. Fun scenes, character interviews and other games will allow campers to participate with each other virtually. (This is excellent practice for older students who want to practice play or musical based character development.)
This Google Meets online camp is for anyone of any level experience.

Instructor Experience

Robert Whiteman is currently a 5th grade teacher in the Guilderland CSD.
He has taught for 29 years, including 7 years as a music and theater teacher and several as an enrichment specialist.
He is also a professional director.
Robert was named a 2006 Disney Teacher of the Year and has taught acting and singing for many theater companies in the area.
