Are you a gamer? Have you ever wondered how video games are made? Did you know you could even now make gaming a career? If so, this is the camp for YOU!

General Information
  • Come learn about the history of video games, play games from the past, and learn to create your own.
  • We’ll look at different consoles and see how games have changed over the years.
  • You’ll have the option to participate in tournaments or explore solo games. And by the time the week is over, you’ll know how to create your own video games using Scratch, Flowlab, and other programs.
  • There is so much to learn, see, and do. Sign up now!

Instructor's Experience
  • Rob Schmidt is a 5th grade classroom teacher and a technology enthusiast. He has 16 years of teaching experience ranging from 3rd grade and to the college level. Rob is a new camp instructor through the Town of Guilderland and is excited to create meaningful experiences and help your child build their storytelling skills through the use of new technology.
