• Registration is required. The cost is a flat fee of $20 per-camper per-week. A cost adjustment for one-way travel can be made by calling the Parks & Recreation Department.
• Availability is on a first-come first serve basis. There is a limited number of buses and spacing available.
• Transportation is available and limited to Town of Guilderland residents - buses will not travel outside of the Town.
• Unregistered campers will not be permitted on the bus. Register early to assure a spot.
• The buses will leave the bus garage at 7:30am and arrive at Tawasentha Park between 8:15 and 8:30am - depending on the length of each route.
• The bus routes will have designated locations for pick-up and drop offs, with a number of centralized points throughout the route. The bus will remain at each designated location for apx. 10 minutes (ex. Lynnwood Elementary.) A centralized point is a quick pick up at certain location (ex. corner of Main St and Brandle Rd.).
• We encourage you to utilize the designated locations for pick up and drop off.
• The bus will no longer pick up campers at the end of their driveways.
• Each bus route will be assigned a cartoon character for easy identification.
• Transportation is available to any Sports or Enrichment camps offered between 9:00-11:00am.
• All campers will be taken to Tawasentha Park first. Campers will then unload and reload the buses to be transported to the school/facility of their camp/program. The process will be in reverse for the return route home.
• Buses will exit Tawasentha Park at approximately 11:40am for the return routes.
• Parents/Guardians must be present at designated drop off locations. Campers will not be let off the bus unless parent/guardian is present. Please be there a few minutes early.
• The Bus Transportation Supervisor contact number is 518-339-8174. Starting Monday, July 1st.
• Send your camper with his/her camp tag - located on the registration website or in the back of this brochure.
• This is not a requirement for campers to attend our programming but an amenity for families to utilize. Campers can still be dropped off or picked up from their desired camp by a parent/guardian.

Traveling south on Rt 146 to centralized point at Altamont Oaks to Right on Main St, to Right Park St, centralized point at Orsini Park, left on Fairview Ave to centralized point at Altamont Elementary School to Grand Street, Right on Main St, centralized point at Main Street and Brandle, left on Route 158, to Right on Rt 20, to left on Fuller Station Road, to Right W Old State Road, to Right on Regina Drive, designated location at Lynnwood Elementary School (apx 8:00-8:10), to Right on Carman Road, Express to Tawasentha Park.

Flounder Bus
Traveling north to Rt 20 to first designated location at McKownville Methodist Church at 1565 Western Ave (apx 7:50-8:00), then to the second designated location Towne Center Plaza (parking lot adjacent to Market 32 at apx 8:05-8:15). Express to Tawasentha Park.

Hei Hei Bus
Traveling north on Rt 146 to Right on Ostrander Road, to Right on Wormer Road, first centralized point at Wormer Road and Chesterfield Drive, to Left on Rt 155 to Right on Dr Shaw Road, to Right on Kennewyck Circle to second centralized point at Kennewyck Circle and Vanderlyn Lane, to Right on Vanderlyn Lane to Left on Dr Shaw Road to third centralized point at Dr Shaw Rd and Longhouse Lane, to Right on Rt 155, first designated location at Farnsworth Middle School (apx 7:55-8:05) to Right on Rt 155, to Left on Rt 20, Express to Tawasentha Park.

Buzz Lightyear Bus
Traveling north on Rt 146 toward Rt 20, turn Left on Rt 20 to Right on Carman Road, left on Coons Road to first designated location at Pine Bush Elementary School (apx 7:40-7:50), left on Coons Road to Right on E. Lydius St, centralized point at E. Lydius St and Lone Pine Road, to the second designated location at DiCaprio Park (apx 7:55-8:05), right on E. Lydius St, Right on Siver Road, centralized point at Siver Road and Legion Drive, Right on Willow St to Right on Rt 20, Express to Tawasentha Park.
